Our current season is crowned by the premiere of a new folklore production "Home in the Homeland" directed by Módos Máté and Módosné Almási Berta Csilla, which will premiere on the 16th and 18th of June. We will also be presenting the Petőfi memorial show entitled "We will live free."
The creation of the performance "Home in the Homeland" is an extraordinary event in the life of Háromszék Dance Ensemble in two respects. On the one hand, it is the creative debut of Módos Máté and Módosné Almási Berta Csilla, as the two young choreographers are creating a full-length production for the first time in the professional dance scene. On the other hand, the dances of these regions will be brought to life for the first time on the stage of our ensemble. The performance will feature dances from Somogy, Rimóc, Hortobágy, Viski, Bukovina, Nagypalád and Szeghalom. The production is supported by the Csoóri Sándor Fund.
The premieres will take place on the 16th and 18th of June at Háromszék Dance Studio, and two more performances will be held on19 and 20 June.
On the 9th of June, the folklore show "We will live free", directed by László Ivácson, will be presented again in Sfântu Gheorghe, showing the relationship of the poet, born in the lowland, with the people of Szeklerland, the variations in the mood of the years 1848-1949, the enthusiasm and compassion that arose in the wake of current events.
