Programmes for January

2022. December 27.

The year 2023 will start with the interactive dance history performance Dance Treasure, the folklore show On strings and the dance theatre production Tragedy.

The Dance Treasure, directed by László Ivácson, will be presented to students in organised performances between 16-19 January at Háromszék Dance Studio. The virtual walk through the museum, which spans the ages, will be accompanied by a game that young people can join in with their smartphones. Our dance history performance will also be presented in Târgu Secuiesc at the end of the month.

More about the performance Dance Treasure:

In 2023, we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Imre Madách and the 140th anniversary of the first staging of the dramatic poem The Tragedy of Man. On the occasion of the double Madách commemorative year, our ensemble staged the dance theatre production Tragedy, directed by Árpád Könczei. The production will be staged on the 27th and 28th of January in the Háromszék Dance Studio, but we plan to perform it in several other Transylvanian and Hungarian towns during the year.
