From Lent to Lent – a ten-day tour

The Háromszék Dance Ensemble presents Fom Lent to Lent directed by Furik Rita in eight locations from Transylvania, Slovakia and Hungary between 25 November – 4 December.
„Lent is an act of faith, a posibility to transcend from the ordinary, from reality and be reborn, an opportunity to leave behind anger, hatred and open ourselfs to absolute love and freedom”, explaines Furit Rita, director-coreographer.
Song of songs, Dance of dances, God of gods, Lent of lents – in the performance of Háromszék Dance Ensemble with an intense musicality and powerfull vocals (specific of Hungarian minority from Slovakia). Traditional and contemporary, woman and man, profane and sacred, in the same temporal dimensions. It is a dance performance, an affirmation of life and love composed by expressive internal monologues and intense poetic landscapes.
