On the occasion of the bicentenary, our dance ensemble will pay tribute to the poet and his work with a new performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On the 13th and 14th of April, the folklore show \"We will live free\" will be presented at the H\u00e1romsz\u00e9k Dance Studio, directed by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Iv\u00e1cson. <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production is based on S\u00e1ndor Pet\u0151fi's Transylvanian roots. The performance presents the relationship of the poet, who was born in the lowland landscape, with the people of Szeklerland, the variations in the mood of the years 1848-1949, the enthusiasm and compassion that arose in the wake of current events. Pet\u0151fi proclaimed his republican principles everywhere and was steadfast in stoking the fires of revolution.
