I have seen the earth, the sky, and the seasons. I have known love, glimpses of reality, desires, and disappointments. I have lived on this earth and gradually awakened. One day I will die\u2014and how wonderfully natural and simple that is! Could anything else, better or grander, have happened to me? It could not. I have experienced the fullest, the grandest human destiny. Nothing more, nothing better could have happened.\"<\/em> \u2014 S\u00e1ndor M\u00e1rai<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who has ever approached the spirit of folk tradition knows that, according to their sacred beliefs, our physical existence does not end at the moment of rest. Through a passage, our divine essence reaches eternity. The poetry of ancient customs tied to the various stages of earthly life is filled with motifs that transform the moment of arrival in the afterlife into a celebration.
