Ivácson László rendezésében és koreográfiájában készül társulatunk legújabb néptánc-színházi előadása. Az Change című produkció premierjére szeptember 21-én kerül sor.

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” (Mt. 9, 16-17)
The vine is capable of resurrection. The bunches are picked, crushed, pressed, put in barrels and then placed in the depths of a dark cellar. In the final hour however, a new beginning is sparked. The grapes are given a new lease of life and if treated well, come to life in the form of a wonderful wine.
Wine, the blood of Christ, is the most important symbol of the Christian world, as it conveys the message of salvation. The Christian man sees in the blood of Christ the hope of salvation.
With these ideas we are going to visit the famous wine-producing regions of Transylvania: the Küküllő and Nagyenyed area. Through the folk culture of the nationalities living here (Hungarian, Romanian, Gypsy), we will present the "life of the vine", the different stages of wine making and the folk customs and festivities connected with these occasions. The dances, songs and music of famous folk musicians will be recalled: Ferenc Szabó (Szásznagyvesszős), Árpád Vincze (Magyarszentbenedek), Zsiga Karsai (Lőrincréve), József Jakab (Magyarózd).
In the wine rituals of other cultures besides Christianity, wine was also a drink of renewal and purification, a renewer of strength and power, and a reaffirmer of the power of the gods.
"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.' (Ef. 4, 22-24)
