
Fantastic performances at the 34th Folk Dance and Music Festival, a tour and guest performances colourize our November programme.
Folk music and folk dance lovers can enjoy a varied and rich programme of events this month. This year, the Háromszék Dance Theatre and László Lajtha Foundation are organising the Folk Dance and Music Festival. The two-day festival will take place between 8-9 November at the Tamási Áron Theatre and the Sepsi Arena. There will be exciting dance performances, concerts, exhibitions, children's programmes and a craft fair.
This year, the 34th Folk Dance and Music Festival will feature two performances by the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, a company from Budapest. The 10th Szeklerland Lad's Dance Competition will be held, and the Children and Youth Folk Dance Gala will feature children's and youth folk dance groups from Covasna County. Julcsi Paár and her orchestra and Sára Tímár and her orchestra will perform solo concerts for the audience in Sfântu Gheorghe. The Heveder Banda will give a special concert with guests such as Szalonna and his Band, István Papp "Gázsa", cimbalom player Kálmán Balogh, Rémusz Eötvös and Jenő Dima, Jr. Sándor Fodor "Neti Sanyika", from Kalotaszeg. Of course the host, the Háromszék Dance Theatre, will also take the stage.

On 18 November, we will go on a multi-stop tour with our performances Lúdas Matyi and Hazától hazáig. We will present one organised performance in Nyárádszereda, three in Marosvásárhely and two in Kolozsvár.

In Kolozsvár we will be invited to the 20th Cluj Folk Music and Folk Dance Festival, and in addition to our children's performances, we will also stage the folklore performance Home in the Homeland on 21 November at 8pm at the Student House of Culture.

The Oradea Dance Ensemble will bring two guest performances to our city at the end of the month. On 28 November, the magical dance play Holló Jankó will be presented in two organised performances, and on 29 November, the physical theatre performance The Schmürz will be performed at the Háromszék Dance Studio.

Tickets for the 34th Folk Dance and Music Festival and the guest performance of the Oradea Dance Ensemble can be purchased at the Central Ticket Office.
