From Lent to Lent – Renewed performance

Renewed premiere on 13 March from 7 p.m. at Háromszék Dance Studio.

Happiness or sorrow, physicality or spirituality, torture or purification? What is the significance of Lent existentialy speaking?

„Lent is an act of faith, a posibility to transcend from the ordinary, from reality and be reborn also an opportunity to leave behind anger, hatred, subjection and open ourselfs to absolute love and freedom”, explaines Furit Rita, director-coreographer.

Song of songs, Dance of dances, God of gods, Lent of lents. In the performance of Háromszék Dance Ensemble with an intense musicality (specific of Transilvania) and  powerfull vocals (specific of Hungarian minority from Slovakia). Traditional and contemporary, woman and man, profane and sacred, in the same temporal dimensions. It is a dance performance, an affirmation of life and love composed by expressive internal monologues and intense poetic impressions.
